Collocations, syntagmatic compounds and nominal locutions: Towards a conceptual delimitation attempt

On the field of Spanish lexicology, studies reveal different positions on what it is meant by phraseological unit. Such diversity of theoretical positions is demonstrated not only by the variety of names coined to refer to those units, but also by the different types that are postulated as belonging to that class. This article takes over nominal phraseological units and intends to establish which types of units can be identified in that category, as well as to suggest some criteria for its definition.
