This article aims to analyze the challenges faced by higher education institutions in Latin America in BANI environments, with a particular focus on Spanish-speaking countries; Hence, this review is of a systematic type of the literature published in the last five years, through a critical analysis of the existing literature, it seeks to explore how technology, administrative management, public policies, social dynamics, the The role of the teacher and two-way communication can contribute to transforming higher education in Latin America and training professionals capable of facing the challenges of the 21st century. It is hoped that this study will contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented to build educational institutions that are more innovative, equitable and relevant to the demands of the 21st century. Finally, the conclusions that are generated are presented as a proposal for reflection in the face of the hundreds of changes that educational systems are going through.
