Abstract

This article addresses the tactics of resistance carried out by non-heterosexual women in their relations with public institutions in Chile. Despite the progress made, the current context of public policy is marked by the presence of inequality practices towards various dissident sexuality, affecting lesbian, bisexual and transgender women in particular and specifically. From qualitative research and a grounded theoretical analysis, it identifies that LBT women are configuring direct resistances, some integration agencies and others expressed as “lines of flight” on institutional violence. The above is also articulated with actions carried out by professionals who resist the normalizing forms of their own public services.
