Abstract

This theoretical reflection article addresses the relationships between pornography and medicine as devices of sexual visibility. It is proposed that, through the specific technology of the camera-screen device, they would generate the emergence of a scopic-sexual regime based on a pornoscientific gaze. Through a transdisciplinary approach, this text seeks to analyze the ways in which this gaze is configured, as well as its impact on the determination of modes of sexual understanding and behavior, as well as on the formation of idealized body aesthetics.
