Abstract

Cissexism is a system of oppression that generates exclusionary practices towards trans people. In order to measure transinclusion practices, the objective of the study is to adapt and validate the Transgender Inclusive Behavior Scale in Sonora, Mexico. The sample is composed of 860 people from three Higher Education Institutions: students, teachers and administrative staff. An Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was carried out through cross-validation, using the Maximum Likelihood method and Oblimin rotation. The results show unacceptable values in four items that modeled a final solution of 11 items with acceptable reliability coefficients in two factors: language and rights. It is concluded that the final solution has construct validity and is presented as a recommended tool, in the Spanish spoken in Sonora, for social actors interested in promoting inclusive spaces for trans people in different areas of public and private life.
